Data Deletion Instructions

How to submit a request

1. Open the Local Business Search contact page.
2. Use the same email address associated with your prior interaction when possible.
3. Write “Data deletion request” in the subject or first line.
4. Identify the website form, newsletter, Facebook or Instagram interaction, or other service involved.
5. Describe the information you want deleted and provide enough detail for us to locate it.

Verification and completion

We may ask for reasonable information to verify identity and protect information from unauthorized deletion. We will review verified requests under applicable law and notify you when the request is completed or if an exception applies. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, or suppression of future marketing.

Remove the app through Meta

You may also remove an authorized app from your Facebook settings under Settings & privacy, Settings, Apps and websites. Removing access stops future collection through that authorization but does not automatically delete information we are legally permitted or required to retain. Submit the request above if you also want eligible retained information deleted.
